Medal Watch started as an obsession, which turned into a blog and grew into a website. Some races have amazing websites and social media and share their medals for all to see but others reveal their bling until you’ve crossed the finish line. Being the curious type, we’d google past medals and try to work out what is in store for us. Yes for many the medal is irrelevant, some runners don’t even keep them whilst others refuse to look before the race. For us it’s the thing that keeps us going and gets us across the finish line, and we’re not alone. There are many of us medal addicts and we’re pretty proud of it.
Medal Watch is not affiliated with any race or race organisation. It is simply a place where all medal knowledge can come together. We have events for future races that have a medal reveal (We’ll never just use an image of last year’s medal!) as well as an archive of past, present and future medals that we hope to build over time.
