There’s a debate that is forever ongoing with runners about whether we want to see medals before the race or not. For some it’s very superstitious and they’d rather not see but many of us love knowing what we will get. It keeps us going them final few miles and gives us an incentive to get to the finish. The sharing of a new medal creates a massive buzz on social media and many of us have been known to travel some distance to get out hands on an amazing design.
There are some of us who need to know what a medal might look like so badly that we’ll google till the cows come home for the medals from past years to see if they’ll give us a hint of what the future may hold for us. Some may call it an obsession but this is where Medal Watch was born. It contains a gallery of medals past, present and future as well as events for races coming soon that have a medal.
If you would like your race and medal added to this site (as well as the blog, twitter and facebook) it’s really simple, just send an email with the details to [email protected] (Chances are that if you have a good site or facebook page and your medal is on it then it may have been added already).
